11. What inspired you to become a DJ?
Roland: When i first saw PAVO play at a local party in Haarlem called Oxygene, I was sold. The way he mixed, scratched, played with records was, and still is, amazing! Fortunately for me he worked in that time in a local recordshop in my home town, so I came there often and learned some of his skills. I’m not PAVO, but I can manage on the stage and still loving it every gig!
Rick: I was always inspired by anything related to dance music. It started off with producing our own records. After we had our first release at DJU black we we’re asked to play at the Empire New York in Hengelo but I didn’t have any experience at all with DJ’ing. Luckily Roland already had a few years of experience and had a set of turntables at home. So the same day he gave me a short workshop and the day after we had to spin at the club. So I was already able to show my first learned skills to a real audience. After that I got really hooked to the DJ stuff and besides Producing it became my biggest passion.
12. What’s your biggest love next to music?
Rick: I got a lot of things I like. A few of them are: Graphic Design, Party my ass off, Games, and of course my girlfriend.
Roland: Hmm, we have alot in common then, Gaming is my speciality, as well as partying our ass off on a weekly basis. But besides that I like Politics and a healthy discussion about it ;).
